Helping North American Schools build a better relationship with China

At GrokChina, we specialize in reaching Chinese youth through China’s education system.  We primarily work with Canadian and American education institutions and governments.  You might come to us for understanding, improved outcomes, or new accomplishments in China.

As China changes, North American public schools, colleges and universities are relating to China differently.  For many of you, recruitment in China now needs to go beyond working with agents or attending international education fairs.  It’s not only about the quantity of students anymore, but also about the quality and how the student is recruited. Moreover, your institution may have a diversity of goals to achieve.

In fact, all of your institution’s goals in China – recruitment, academic, research – may hinge on your school’s reputation.  If this is top of your mind, you might consider longer-term programs that not only directly contribute to your recruitment goals, but that also build your school’s brand and prestige.  For example, competitions, camps, masterclasses, and special courses are great ways to build direct relationships with students, parents, and Chinese institutions. The programs also generate good will and excellent press for your school by virtue of directly benefiting Chinese students and Chinese institutions.

Alternatively, you may want to expand your schools’ “footprint” and earn additional revenues by delivering academic programs in China through X+Y programs, academic exchanges, licensing curricula, government/corporate training, or teacher training. Finally you might want to provide your students with better opportunities to directly gain exposure to China – a fast emerging, enigmatic global superpower – and you might be considering how best to go about this.

Dozens of customers have come to us for help with these issues.  Why do they choose us?

We think it’s because we combine high standards for customer service, a commitment to successful outcomes and a deep experience of and love for China.  We know what matters to North American schools, and we know what it takes for them to succeed in China.
